20 års jubileum av scenen Atalante:
Konstnären Olof Persson deltar den 3 mars 2007 i 20-års jubileet av
Atalante i Göteborg. Tillbaks dit där allt började: Olof var under
slutet av 80-talet och början av 90-talet en av de sk
"Atalante-barnen" och tillbringade en stor del av barndomen och
ungdomstiden på denna scen. Skapade här sina första föreställningar
"Electric Man", "Cementblommor", "Anarkism" och "Hysteri". Verk som
har stått för grunden i det konstnärliga arbetet. Den 3 mars finns det
möjlighet att få se fortsättningen när han visar "Sekvens 6" ur ett
kommande verk.

Konstnären Olof Persson föreläser om sitt pågående projekt Fusion° i
eventet Pecha Kucha Göteborg på Nefertiti, Göteborg 28 mars 2007.
Föreläsningen om Fusion är ett av flera presentationer under Pecha
Kucha-kvällen på Nefertiti i Göteborg med start från kl 20.20. Ted
Hesselbom från Röhsska Museet, Konstgruppen Aorta, forskaren Lalya
Gayle med flera.

Olof har inbjudits till 2007 års upplaga av Dance Across Borders (DAB)
den 29 maj - 16 juni på Fischer Center vid Bard College i Main utanför
New York, USA. DAB är ett internationellt nätverk som startade 1995.
Tidigare upplagor har genomförts i New York, Paris, Amsterdam,
Göteborg, Normandie och Bordeaux.

20-years jubilee of Atalante in Göteborg
The Swedish artist Olof Persson is a participant in the 20-years
jubilee of Atalante, the 3 mars 2007 in Göteborg. Back to where
everything began: Olof was in the end of 80s and beginning of the 90s
one of the so called "Atalante-children" and spent a big part of his
childhood and youth on this stage. Here he created his first
performances "Electric Man", "Cement flowers", "Anarchism" and
"Hysteria". Work that became a foundation stone in his artistic work.
The 3 mars becomes a possibility to see the continuation when he shows
"Sequence 6" from an upcoming work.

Olof has been invited to the 2007 edition of Dance Across Borders
(DAB) 29 may - 16 june at Fischer Center at Bard College in Main
outside of New York, USA. DAB is an international network, which
started 1995. Earlier editions have taken place in New York, Paris,
Amsterdam, Göteborg, Normandie and Bordeaux.

Video / Installation. A for the moment accessible private space in a
constantly present public space.
The work discusses these relationships – rooms that constantly cross
each other and transgress
their intended duty/roles, but can as well with its strong visual
